Employee Time Off Requests

The employee time off requests system in Time Clock MTS allows employees to request time off, administrators to approve or deny those requests, and quickly and easily create time punches to cover the requested time off period. Time off requests can also be created by the time clock administrator. The time off request system is integrated with the employee bulletin system and can automatically notify employees if their time off request has been approved or denied.

Allowing Employees to Request Time Off

The Time Clock MTS administrator can always access the time off request features but it needs to be setup so that your employees can request time off. This is done by:

Managing Time Off Requests - Employees

Employees can manage their own time off requests via the View My Information->Time Off Requests menu (see above). They can create new time off requests, adjust the details of pending time off requests, and view information regarding approved or denied time off requests. Managing Time Off Requests - Administrators

Administrators can manage the time off request process from the within the Time Clock MTS administrator software. The administrator can access the Manage Time Off Requests screen from the Tools->Time Off Requests menu. The administrator can use this screen to create new time off requests, edit existing time off requests, and delete time off requests. This screen is also used to approve or deny time off requests and to create clock in / outs for approved time off requests..
